The route

From the cathedral of Burgos to the Obradoiro Square

This route covers the last 500 km of the French Way, starting in the impressive city of Burgos with its majestic Gothic cathedral. You will cross the broad Castilian plains of the Meseta, pass through León with its stained glass windows, descend towards El Bierzo and cross into Galicia via the mythical O Cebreiro.

A complete journey that unites three cultures: Castilian, Leonese and Galician. The most authentic experience of the Camino, perfect for those who are looking for the complete journey without starting from as far as Roncesvalles.
