From a passion to a mission
It all started in 2014, when Roberto, our founder, decided to combine his two great passions: cycling and the Camino de Santiago. After cycling the French Way for the first time, he knew he wanted to share that experience with others.
We started with just 5 bikes in a small garage in Ponferrada. Today we have a fleet of more than 50 state-of-the-art bicycles, including high-end electric bikes, and a team of 8 people dedicated to making the dream of thousands of pilgrims come true.
We have accompanied more than 5,000 pilgrims from all over the world: Spanish, Portuguese, Italians, Americans, Koreans.... Each one with their own story, their own motivation and their own rhythm. All have arrived in Santiago with a smile on their faces.

Roberto founded El Camino a Pedales in 2014 with a clear mission: to make the Camino de Santiago by bicycle accessible to everyone. His passion for cycling and his deep knowledge of the Camino are the soul of our company.
